The people of Sanctum worship an Angel who lives in the neighboring forest.

None may enter Her sylvan keep. Yet, for a chosen few, She beckons with Her impossibly beautiful song. Once called, these lost souls have no choice but to obey and walk until they reach the heavenly source. Any trespassers who do not receive such a blessing are expelled with a far more violent verse.

Those who enter Her domain never leave, save for one mysterious exception. The townsfolk accept Her as their god despite the terrible warnings from the impenetrable forest. It is far easier to believe in the divine once you have heard its voice in your own backyard.

Addy and her grandfather Jacob have been searching for proof of the supernatural. The two curious outsiders are drawn to the rumored forest and soon find themselves caught in the midst of a prophecy turning into reality. Seraph Corbin, the head of the church and the town’s spiritual leader, believes these visitors to be integral cogs in the wheels of fate that will open the Angel’s forest and the gates of Heaven itself.
